Well now that you mention it, passing that AP English exam DID help me get into college, phew! I interpreted the description of doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers etc. as positions of authority figures, not equals. I also got this vibe when you said lower tier people will be writing our checks in the real world. Good writers are aware that something does not need to be spelled out in simple terms in order to get a message across. Your message in thinking lower tier people are going to be superior to top tier people in the real world was very clear. But more importantly, it was very wrong.

Thank you for having my response deleted. Seems someone doesn’t like it when they’re challenged. Suffice it to say that this response sounds suspiciously like somebody’s sad Mom who doesn’t want anyone to challenge the imaginary social superiority of her top tier baby. Quit being obtuse. You know the entire point of the post was to point out that out in the real world these BS tiers don’t even exist. These supposed top tier people are legends in their own minds.

They’ll “rise?” What makes you think they’re lower than anyone else? Nobody needs to “rise,” so stop talking this way. Y’all thinking that there’s some sort of social hierarchy at Miami need to grow up and join the real world. Those people you’re looking down upon from the top of your imaginary social heap are going to be your lawyers, your doctors, your accountants, your kids’ teachers, etc., so please stop being so clueless.
