theta pledges head for the hills before initiation

I had one of the people that fled on my hall and she said people weren't nice to her and nobody made an effort to meet the new pledges and so they felt disconnected and unwelcomed by the house. She said she hopes to join another house next year.

If SM photos are the proof of a PC, half of Miami’s sororitys don’t have any pledges because they’ve posted not one single photo of one single pledge. Maybe people are too busy with things like, say, GOING TO CLASS, to be all over SM.

Sad to see this house slide so far. Used to be solid mid tier and now its in freefall to the lower depths.

Now the thetas are flooding GR with 'how great are we' nonsense in order to make it seem likes all is good. I also heard that they sent out a bunch of invites to friends of friends in order to fill out the ranks after losing 1/2 their class. Gotta love a down low COB less than a month after recruitment. How to fail at recruitment is a new bestseller written by Miami Theta...pick up the book at the front desk of the library for all the deets.

I don't think they lost 1/2 but they lost nearly a 1/3. If you count all the people in the various initiation pics on IG they clearly had fallout. Wonder why?

There is some truth to this story that Theta is trying to deflect by posting 'how great we are stories' here on GR. If you look at the all the SM pictures out there and POTH then it seems like they lost at least 25% of their class. If you then look at some of the SM chatter from the people that dropped its clear a group of pledges weren't happy and did in fact leave. Trying to figure out if they left because of one person or a group of people or if they didn't feel welcomed. This is a big number of people to leave and will required COB to fill the gaps. I guess if you liked Theta in recruitment then reach out to them now as they have room!

Hoping this isn’t true for theTheta’s, but where there’s smoke there’s fire. Theta’s are overall very well reveared and a popular top tier sorority on campus. What I don’t get is are they that self-righteous though to think they are above the no hazing rules? You worked so hard to recruit the top PNM’s and you haze them to do this of all things? Not hating at all.. just really confused by what hazing they were trying to carry out here lol versus what actually got reported. Come on over next year PNMs, we’ll treat you like royalty and you can also still keep your upper tier status <3

People who haze are bullies and probably sociopaths. Why would anyone want to be sisters (or brothers) with someone who gets off on tormenting another human being?

Looks like the ladies of Theta might need to have a vote to replace a couple of officers that are expected to be expelled next week. Good job to the admin for removing the scum that believe that hazing is ok at our school. Remains to be seen if Theta national will remove these ladies from their organization. Not holding my breathe on that one though as its all about the money with them.
