did theta lose pledges?
by: patCurious to see pic posted on Insta of newly iniatiated members. Unless they didn't include everyone in the photograph it looks like they lost 50% of their pledge class vs Bid Day. What happened?

Wow! That posted picture of the 'smaller' group looks to me like they lost over 50%?????? Why did people leave? Was it the vibe or the cost? 10-15% fallout is pretty typically but 50% Who is the person in charge of pledges as they really seemed to be asleep at the switch. National can't be happy.....

How great can Theta be if it lost 1/2 its pledge class in a few weeks? Can't believe more people aren't talking about this as its pretty bad. Huge loss to the house in terms of finances too which isn't great. What is going on? Why did so many people bail?????

Theta looks like your kite got caught in a tree this year! How can you lose 1/2 a class? I would think that some brain at Theta might think its a good idea to repost another picture with the complete group of folks that were initiated so its clear they didn't lose 1/2 their class. My guess is that they lost 1/2 the class.

For the most part the bid day pictures include the entire group. So, we see the entire pledge group for Theta on bid day and then 1/2 fewer were initiated. To lose 1/2 your class is an impressive feat! Also people are posting on social media about how they dropped before initiation as they didn't feel included in their house and that they weren't treated well. Mmmm. Where there is smoke their is fire I say. Someone screwed up managing the pledges.

there are only 11 girls in that photo. that can’t even be close to all of their new initiates.
1. are we to believe they went from 60 something to less than 20?
2. are they actually embarrassed by their PC? that’s unspeakably awful.
