rush reality

Reality is that Miami has a ton of beautiful girls. It's the level of polish that separates the pnm’s and tiers during recruitment. Every chapter has smart, pretty girls!! It's how they package it that differentiates them more so than anything.
What separates the girls isn't really the women, it's how they present themselves. For example, a chapter that is considered top just has a more polished presentation. During recruitment, you see blow outs, manicured nails and more fashionable clothing choices. It doesn't even have to be uber expensive, it's just a taste level. Conversely, there are some really cute girls in what people consider lower chapters, when they come through recruitment often times they just don't look as polished, their style may be quirky or a little messy. The outfits often lack the final polish of accessories. There are times at recruitment when I see a really really cute girl, but it appears that she just didn't spend as much time getting ready. She could have spent a little more time on her hair or could have added a nice necklace, simple stuff could have ensured she would get a bid.
That’s the reality.

Can't speak for everyone but my chapter at least is considered top and we genuinely rank based on conversations. If you're awkward or we don't have much in common you get cut, not because you aren't wearing a necklace. It always helps with first impressions if you look put together, and fashion choices help speak truth to your personality, but beyond that you are mainly judged based on how much you vibe with as many sisters as possible, not how expensive your clothes are or how perfect your hair is!!!

This post HAD TO HAVE BEEN made by APhi! The substance (or lack thereof...) is right out of their playbook as described in detail on reddit by the former recruitment chair of APhi at Michigan. APhi is known for being all about the FORM and totally lacking in substance. Just sayin!
