being in a bottom sorority (to freshman girls)

As someone in a bottom tier sorority, it’s really not that bad! It’s not everyone’s thing, and that’s perfectly fine. Just know that if you don’t think you fit well in the top tier chapters (or just don’t get a bid from them in the spring) it’s not the end of the world! I have so much fun with my sisters and I don’t regret not taking a spot in a top chapter (nothing wrong with them, I just didn’t think I’d fit). Just make sure you make the most of your experience and just try to have fun with your sisters if you Go Greek! And avoid putting down other chapters

I'm also a bottom tier girl, and I thought I'd love it (more lowkey than top tiers) and I actually hate it. The ratio of mandatory events to social events is very skewed, and everything seems contrived. I think I would have fit into a different house better, but now it's too late. I'm not bashing my house by any means, but I really just don't fit in or get along with anyone.
