I don’t know why but kappa is still struggling in 2020. There are some nice girls but a lot of nasty ones too. Over all they just seem uncomfortable and awkward

Oh my god calm down zeta and aphi!!! it’s literally summer and no one cares about your opinions anyways. Sure, kappa didn’t have the best year, but all that matters is that those girls are fine with it. The only people putting other houses down are those feeling threatened. And there’s no way this many older girls are randomly checking this site in the summer and bashing one sorority. Please just live your own lives in peace and don’t bother others. it’s really not that hard

So when I started Miami I really thought I wanted to be a Kappa. I was a legacy and I loved their national rep BUT then I would run into a few Kappas uptown 1st semester and although they were nice, there wasn’t much to them. They were not talking with guys and were kind of awkward with the social scene But I hoped that was just a fluke. But then during rush they all really came off as fake and the girls that I spoke with were again awkward and were just socially bizarre too. They weren’t for me. But I’m sure they are a great home for some girls...

I had a very similar experience with kappa. And I agree, there is something just very off about these girls.

This happened to about 90% of us last year. By second round most of us had that “umm no” feeling at Kappa. It’s ok, everyone finds a home and everyone is supportive (at least to your face)

Friends with 4 girls who dropped kappa last year/ didn’t feel good about becoming active. They couldn’t handle the uncomfortable date parties and awkward mixers

My mom was a kappa too but she totally understood that things change and supported me going with a different sorority and now I look back and am so glad I didn’t feel pressure to go somewhere I didn’t belong and everything turned out perfect
