kicked off fraternities?

I heard as a transfer that I should join a kicked off fraternity due the fact that most of the good ones will be kicked off eventually. I was told sigma chi is the best and maybe sigma pi if they keep nationals. Any advice? I know a couple people in sigma pi's pledge class and they are pretty cool and I know a few sigma chi brothers and like em a lot. But is it a risk to join an off campus fraternity? Do they still have mixtures functions and parties ??

This is propaganda made by a jealous sigma chi or Sigma Pi kid. There's no benefit to being off. The good sororities stop hanging out with you and everyone looks at you as a joke.

Soroties can't have mixers with fraternities if Clemson has kicked them off campus. Sig Chi still has good parties and most off campus fraternities still have money left over from dues so they still have functions, they just can't put their letters on things if nationals kicked them off too. I don't know all the rules (there definitely are a lot) but this is what I know.
