Got dropped after round one

I’m a little disappointed I got dropped by a lot of chapters after round one... especially because I feel it’s hard for sororities to get a good view of my personality just from a video. I’m a bigger girls and have to assume that I got dropped due to first impressions of my appearance. So I’m just going to expose the ones that cut me based off of a silly first impression...

Focus on the ones you have left. Clemson sororities are All good and appeal to different girls.
There are many reasons you might get dropped first round - grades, no recommendations, risky social behavior among others. I personally would rather know right off the bat, then get my hopes up.

Or it’s just a numbers game... PNMs coming through Clemson rush are an amazing group of women but sororities have to make a cutoff somewhere depending on their “return rates” (percentage of girls who want to go back to those houses). It’s not very often personal.

Is no one going to acknowledge the issue of body shaming? sure she might have no recommendations and such, but to be dropped by that large amount all being towards the top with an image to protect? we all know they only want girls who fit the skinny blonde image and its disgusting that all these comments aren't bashing the sororities for that

You’re assuming it’s because of a body issue but it most likely it is not. Many girls get dropped 1st round for lots of reasons. It is part of the process. You should be encouraging her to stay positive about the outstanding houses she has left.

She’s assuming that’s why she was dropped. She doesn’t have any actual proof of that. We don’t know anything about this girl besides what she decided to tell us.
Also, the max numbers of houses for this round was 9. 6/9 is still a good schedule. I’m sure there are girls with fewer on their schedule than that. Top houses cut more because they have higher return rates. Rush feels harsh, you really need to keep up a positive attitude because again, it’s usually not personal.

Maybe you’re just not cut out for the good chapters. If these dropped you first round, you likely ended up in bottom tier
