sorority rush is really long and tough on a lot of girls, but being in a sorority is pretty fun at clemson even though we dont have houses (keeps dues relatively low) sororities also dont haze at clemson. frat scene is ok, pretty fun around football season but is definitely more fun at other schools. its what you make it really

Sororities do not present at orientation. It’s not essential for girls to be in a sorority at Clemson but just going through the recruitment process can help you start making friends. As far as sorority life, expect to have chapter once a week, at least 1 big philanthropy event every year, and a couple other mandatory things mixed in that you have to attend. As far as social life goes they all normally have maybe 3-4 mixers per semester on weeknights, a Semiformal, formal, and 2-3 other main social functions per semester. Although completely doable for any major, keep in mind that it is a commitment to be in any sorority, but some sororities are stricter than others.
