random question about sigma pi
by: randomI'm in a fraternity thats constantly ranked lower than sigma pi on here, and I just don't understand how Sigma Pi survived getting kicked off 3 years ago now and are still constantly active on campus while sig ep sig chi pike sae etc all got kicked off and were just as good if not better than sigma pi but are all now gone. How can a fraternity thats not even a fraternity with no nationals still recruit kids? I mean I've been to white house tailgates and they're fun but i just don't understand how sigma pi is a thing....

I don't believe this is a real question but I'll act like it is.
Sigma Pi recruited really well for years. They took guys that were really sociable, great hangs and actually talked to girls at parties (looking at you ASig & Pi Kapp). They are just a lot of fun. Not everyone wants to be involved in the daily bureaucracy and management of an IFC frat. Some people just want to party, hangout and enjoy college.
That's why a lot of my friends still go to their parties and chill with them downtown.

The people befor me basically said this but sigma pi and sigma chi once they got kicked off were just a bunch of guys that were social and had a lot of friends and their friends didn’t care that they weren’t “officially” sigma pi so they obviously still hung out with them and since they know how to throw a party more people wanna hang out with them... it’s not that hard to be social

^ basically this.
Sigma Pi has always been a strong chapter at Clemson, especially since they generally aren’t great down south.
Also SAE was able to continue to recruit and survived until they came back.
Pike and Sigma Chi had the school push back there suspensions and no one wanted to be associated with Sig Ep
