agr update. status and house.

so this is straight from two friends i have in AGR, right now they're saying they are in a tough spot but it isn't as bad as we thought. more than likely they wont get the death penalty, but they will probably get a lengthy suspension and probation after a very extensive brotherhood review. i'm not sure if tat review is over or not but they will probably be allowed back and be heavily sanctioned/monitored. i'm not sure if they're just trying to paint abetter picture of their chapter status or telling the truth but this is what they've told me.
AGR is not currently in any serious negotiations with any chapter for their house, everyone they've come to has been very hesitant. i know for sure they've openly approached ATO and KA with informal offers, but have also secretly approached other groups like phi delt, kappa sigma and a mid tier group i forgot at the moment. they're gauging interest to see who gives the best offer for a short term lease, ultimately they want a bigger group with 100+ like KA PDT or KS that can handle having another place this big well, or a popular group in good standing with the university like ATO.
no one thinks they're going to get the death penalty anymore and if that doesn't happen they're probably not going to sell but they should be getting their sentencing in the next month or two for sure.

That's pretty similar to what I heard. 2 year suspension with a lengthy probation after and a very hardcore membership review. The guys are expecting to have 20-25 guys returning in the Fall which is rough and not enough to fill the house or do anything and its why they're looking for someone to sign a 2 year lease starting in the Fall.
I also heard that KA is only group that's made a formal offer but I don't know if that's true. Their alumni are so conservative and restrictive on what they do I'm not sure I believe that they'd get them a house like that.

maybe KA gets it, they need something to pick themselves up because they're just sorry right now.
ATO probably isn't going to go for it. they're not really in good standing with clemson, especially after throwing all those parties on probation, they have good grades but that's about it. they don't want to risk having AGR at anything with their names on it.
doubt KS or PDT goes for it, they don't want anything to do with AGR and barely know the guys anyways.
the mid fraternity that was approached was phi sig and they barely know AGR either. it would make sense for both but i think they'll end up going elsewhere. i hear if KA falls through phi sig is making a formal offer.
