This is gonna be a weird post so I'm just gonna jump right into it. I'm in an upper-middle tier fraternity for all of you that care. I'm not gonna go into detail about anything, but lets just say that because of a special circumstance Clemson nor our nationals recognize us (my pc) as brothers, though we've finished the whole pledge process. That makes me a geed on paper, which means I could technically rush next Fall and try to join a more active fraternity that would be a far better fit for me. What are my chances of getting even looked at by a good fraternity due to my circumstances if I decided to rush again?

We know who you all are. You can try but unless your chapter is planting spies it's not a good look.

So many people probably told you it was a bad idea to rush an off campus fraternity. Look what happened. Don’t feel sorry for you at all. Realistically, you can join another fraternity, but plan on it being a mid-lower chapter.

get your pledge brothers together and cut a deal with someone new who is moving in the right direction like Pi Kapp, Phi Sig or Fiji, that might be an easier path.

What do you think frats background check you? Don’t bring it up, not that it would matter at all as long as you were cool. Lol has anyone ever been in a chapter room during voting ? Most unorganized thing ever

Also rushing again especially now that pledging isn’t what is was is def a good move make the most out of your time with someone on campus
