Asked my brother for old rankings from when he was senior in 2008. Looking at it there’s been a lot of change.

Before in the early to late 90s and early 2000s i think KS and SN were top but campus kicked them both off and the fell off only to immedietly return back to the top. Ranks change over time usually in 4 to 5 years.

RIP:SAE KS SN Fiji Pike SX SigEp(screw sig ep) AGR(screw AGR RN) OX ChiPhi PKT were all kicked off at one point or another. The current ideration is still recovering, AGR is gone for a year until they return, SAE will be back and hopefully recover back to the top like KS and SN did.

Kappa Sig was a very middle tier fraternity before they got kicked off, and was goober central after refounding in 2010. It took them a couple years after getting Pi Kapp’s House in 2010 to get to where they are now. They were middle tier in 2013.
Pi Kapp was upper-mid from the mid 1990s until they got kicked off in 2010. They are making progress similar to what KS did in the very early 2010s, I could see them making a big jump next year if they have the big house and use it.
Also, I don’t know why you’re ranking OX in the mid-2000s. OX was kicked off from the 90s until the mid-2000s. They tried to refound in the mid-2000s but they had a kid die at one of their parties and they got kicked again.
Mid-2010s you need to switch SX and AGR. AGR was full of creepy rednecks. SX was almost a top tier fraternity.

I agree with everything you said except Kappa Sigma being middle tier before they were expelled.
Most of my family who went to clemson were either SAEs or KAs here, and most of my family went here. Pretty much everyone i talked to said that KA SN SAE ATO KS and even BTP AGR SP were all at one point top or considered really good at different points in history.
Anyways what they said was KS KA and SAE partied together a lot here back in the day, probably at some point in the 90s and early 2000's. They ran a certain part of the old bar scene. SN ATO SP used to party together as well they were just another group, they ran a different part of the bar scene. then you had all of the newer fraternities or whatever party together in different groups or with some of these groups too. They ran whatever was left.

99% of older rankings depend on who you talk to since there werent ranking systems online like GR available, theres nothing anyone can go back to. Unless of course youre a part of the original 8, pretty sure all of them keep well documented greek histories but even then its slightly biased.
ATO SAE KS KA SN AGR BTP etc. Have all been top at some point in clemson history and got into trouble and fell down. Its always a cycle.

AGR was later and has only gotten past there creepy redneck reputation the past 2 years.

Biggest jumps are Phi Delt and Kappa Sig because of the Compound and the Old Greenville Highway house. That’s the way to jump in the rankings, big houses close to campus. Fraternities that wouldn’t have touched Phi Delt and Kappa Sig back then began begging them to party with them.
