Social lives aren't everything but they do play a big part in your college experience and you want it to be as fun as possible. Some fraternities here will lie to you and tell you they can throw good or big events but can't or don't due to their nationals rules. They still have house parties but either keep them low key or throw them less often because they have to throw money at other frats to use their spot.

Frats that are better being 21 and up to party as they have rules against alcohol in house: Beta, PhiDelt, Sigma Nu, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Delta Sigma Phi

Again they still have big popular events but a lot of times those are at venues .most card but some don't, really only tailgates during football season are when you get a chance to really experience the Greek social scene.
