Don't listen to these ranks
by: Actual Panhellenic
I’ve worked with every chapter, and I’d encourage us all to think carefully about how we talk about 'rankings.'
Even when it’s well-intentioned, these kinds of posts often reinforce harmful comparisons and make people feel lesser for something that shouldn’t be reduced to a list. Every chapter brings something different to the table—whether it’s philanthropy, sisterhood, leadership, or community—and none of that can or should be ranked objectively.
If we really want to support Panhellenic unity, let’s shift the conversation away from hierarchy and toward respect, collaboration, and celebrating our differences without putting anyone down. That’s what sisterhood should look like.”

I absolutely love this. Coming from a “lower tier” chapter, I had no idea what this site was until recently and had no idea what tiers were either. It’s shocking the hatred and the normalization of bullying on apps like these that work when people are putting each other down for…. What exactly? I fell in love with my sorority because of how well I fit in and it hurts how people cast so much judgment on it because it’s apparently “bottom tier”, as if that has anything to do with the many amazing women that are in it. The tier system is a way for men to judge women and for women to constantly be in competition with each other for the men’s approval. Please let that sink in next time you see anyone put another sorority down for the benefit of another.
