diversity? and how much of it.

my friend wants to rush in the spring but she’s scared of the diversity in the houses. because when you go on instagram you see mostly, white. i know there’s specific things like divine 9 and things like that but for pan does skin color really affect if the person will get in or not? i’m not trying to start anything. just a genuine question ahaha

there really isn’t that much diversity in a lot on chapters, there’s probably a handful of poc in each chapter and they really aren’t represented much

And that's a good thing. Diversity isn't virtuous just because it's a hip buzzword right now.

so you are aware the amount of black women in sororities is proportionate to the number who go thru recruitment. If more black women rushed more would be represented. It’s that simple
