by: Pan loveI’m not in zeta and I feel sorry for both of these women for being exposed. However, it is so important as sorority women that we constantly remind ourselves that we are a reflection of our chapter and the Panhellenic community, even the university. We have been under a microscope for years now. Besides you don’t take off the “sorority hat” when you leave the house, go to derd (rip) or do anything else. It is so important to stress actions and consequences. Ofc I’m sure they never intended for these to leak but you can never be certain that they wouldn’t leak. These are going to affect their eligibility for jobs and grad schools because they are out on the internet now forever (the link to these images are on the first page of google search results), so sad. An important lesson to keep it classy, remember who you’re representing/values you’re supposed to uphold and always remember that actions eventually lead to consequences. Really awful it had to go down this way.

It’s not that well constructed or thought out. It is also preachy honey. You have zero knowledge under what circumstances this situation occurred so stop just stop with your assumptions.

Having that ability to admit you made a mistake about something, and just being totally upfront about it. That's such a damn rare, but important trait these days, even on the Internet where it doesn't really matter and you can just walk away and not say anything.

Sounds like your definition of support involves enabling and supporting promiscuous and immodest behavior. This person is being supportive of other women who conduct themselves with class and act and dress modestly. For some reason, you take serious issue with that, but will support behavior that is not so classy and modest. The irony of you talking about anyone's "true morals" is astounding.

And ofc it’s important to emphasize that this behavior isn’t reflective of all zetas, or all sorority women. Likewise, there are girls like this in every chapter it seems. Like I said in this post I’m not a zeta, I know a couple of zetas who are sweet girls and honestly don’t have the “look” that zeta portrays on Instagram, which is an interesting topic for another day. Regardless, it’s sad to see so many people promoting the side of promiscuity and attempting to rationalize it. Plus calling them victims, which they are in the sense of getting their images smothered online, but they’re not victims when they took the photos. Idk, it’s just better too play it modest than have something like this happen in my opinion.

I agree. I do fall into the trap of over-generalizing, sometimes. But I am aware that there are some intelligent ones among you. I was lavishing one of you with some praise earlier, for putting together a good paragraph. But, in my opinion, the vast majority are dumb. There are some glints of gold among the sea of sand, for sure.
