Torn between UF and FSU
by: WonderingObviously UF has the better academics, but what re your thoughts on their geek life compared to FSU? I plan on rushing and Greek life is something that will weigh some part of my decision. Just wondering what your thoughts are on your Greek life/future of it compared to theirs. Thanks! Loved FSU when I visited!!!! Also enjoyed UF

You’re an instigator. FSU and UF are designated as the state’s two Flagship Universities. Academics are comparable now, but they excel in different areas.
Unfortunately, FSUs administration is overseeIng the crippling destruction of the fraternity system. It’s still here, but UF hasn’t experienced the same attacks.

UF has stronger Greek life. They have like twice the number of frats that we do and is basically the whole social scene. A person in Greek life and a person who isn’t at FSU could have a pretty similar experience (minus brotherhood/sisterhood) but at UF, everything is ingrained in Greek life
