Sororities have invested too much in their houses. If FSU eliminates fall recruitment they’ll destroy sororities just like they’ve destroyed fraternities.
If no formal recruitment, then just let the sororities open rush like the fraternities.

No formal recruitment this fall. You are crazy if you think they are going to let 20O+ girls congregate in houses. Not happening 100%
They will either postpone or come up with some other method like open rush and limit how many pnms can be in the house with members at a time

the sororities that have been top tier forever are the same and the sororities that have been bottom tier have been the same. Open rush would give the have-nots a chance to compete. If a low rated sorority got ambitious and started open rushing girls they could never attract otherwise, they'd rise quickly and other lazy sororities would fall.

Open rush would not work for girls bc no one would go to the bottom tier. Wouldn’t work. No one wants them until they are forced to talk to them and end up with no other options. Only honesty

This is true. Mid and lower ranked houses would prob get screwed. It will be interesting to see what happens but I agree with the OP no way is formal recruitment going to happen the way it has in the past. If it does it will look way different than how it does now

Panhellenic has already started advertising fall recruitment and posted dates. Although nothing is 100% I’m sure they’ll reconfigure things to make it work given the circumstances. Plus, the governor is opening places this week to 50% capacity and it’s not even June. He’ll probably have everything back to normal by August.

I feel like they might do modified rush for example extending it by a week so each rush party can have fewer girls in it so there’s 3-4 days per round instead of 2 days
