how to get ready for recruitment?

For starters start compiling recs now. Try to have a least one rec per sorority.
FSU recruitment is intense but there are a lot of great sororities and a lot of variety. Don’t choose your house based on this site and tiers. Go with your gut and where you feel most at home. You’ll do fine. Good luck!

Recs literally don’t matter at all at fsu. At best they’ll only get you past the first round

You don’t have to have family recs. Recs can come from anyone. Ask around - your mom’s friends. Were they in a sorority? Will they write a rec for you?
Recs are not absolute and girls can do fine with out them but I would strongly suggest you have 1 for each sorority.

We are all still planning work week and recruitment week, the final decision won’t be made until July, but as of now, we are planning like it’s happening.

I don’t have any recommendations bc I’d be a first generation sorority sister if I get chosen. Would that hurt my chances?
