Personally I’ve heard only good things about theta chi other than the house

Don’t just limit yourself to these three. there are plenty of “middle tier” fraternities - such as Sig Ep, KA, hell even SAE and Kappa Sig - that could be worth your time.

Word on the street is this is going to be the biggest spring rush of all time thanks to so many kids sitting out their first semester or from the kids that pledged fraternities still under suspension and need to re-rush. Pike rarely takes large spring PCs and neither does ATO or even Theta Chi, so you may not even get a bid at any of the three.

That said - between the three, Pike is Pike and I don’t think I need to do much explaining here. ATO is douchey prettyboys. Biiiiig egos at this house. If that’s your thing, go for it. Theta chi is similar to ATO but much less reserved. Really chill guys from my experience. They do need a new house though.

You asking what is difference in members personalities but truth is that Pike ATO and Theta chi all rush the same guys pretty much. The fraternities themselves have different personalities, not so much the individual members. Theta chi is really good: big numbers but laid back and like to have a good time. Ato is more egotistical like someone said above. They’re big on promoting ATO as loud as possible. They’re very social.
To Pike it’s important to them that everyone acknowledges them as the top dog overall.
But if you put all the members together in a room you couldn’t distinguish who belonged to which fraternity.

By the way, the term PNM is used by sororities. Fraternities use the word Rushees. At least the alpha male fraternities do.

Pike will take about 80 guys this spring.
