greek life decides not to show up to hoco
by: OkThere is no real unity in the Greek community. To all of you hat didn't show up to hoco with your chapter because you're salty that Greek life is canceled, we noticed. You clearly care more about yourselves than our community.

Sounds like we're pretty unified to me. You cut our legs out from under us, then expect us to stand and watch a parade we're barred from participating in. We'll get our problems straightened out but don't expect us to eat s#%t and then say how much we like it. You want a parade? Fine. Go have your parade.
We'll be back next year to make it worthwhile.

What? The point of homecoming is to unify and support your fellow Noles. The best thing the Greek community could have done was to show solidarity and show up in spirit after a terrible loss of a life in the name of our Greek life culture. But instead all I saw was a half ass attempt by any of us out there. I'm not saying the parade is more important than his death jfc miss me with that reach

I wasn’t even commenting towards the OP, it was mainly towards the first post that was talking about how they’ll go back to the parade next year once it’s “worthwhile” but for now they’ll stay salty while Greek life is suspended

To all the Debbie Downers. NOBODY planned to boycott the homecoming parade. Since the Greeks weren't allowed to be involved in homecoming, a lot of people just went home early for Thanksgiving. Yes, a young man died after a pledge party at Pi Kapp. But no one died at Tri-Delt or Theta Chi or anywhere else.
Group punishment just encourages resentment.

One day you'll look at back at how stupid you sound and cringe. This is coming from someone in a sorority who is just as sad as the next person about no Greek life. It's not that serious and I stood and supported my FSU community. We should be ashamed for what our community has done. If you don't, shame on you
