new sorority
by: DEPAULWhat's everyone think about the new sorority coming to campus this spring Phi Mu?
#15by: well
just going to throw this out there. I saw some phi mu's out and about the other day. they were basically screaming about which sororities they're better than with no real reasons other than because they beat one sorority at greek week and that they party more than the other. while reading greek rank. in public. i feel like that says a lot... lol. Avoid avoid avoid

As a women of the Panhellenic council I am hugely disappointed in this thread and it's lack of support of a new sorority of campus that is doing fine, as are all the existing sororities on campus. There is no depth to any of these posts except the carry stereotypical behavior that make women wa away from recruitment. Rethink you're desire to cut any other Panhellenic women down, no matter who they are.

There is so much disrespect towards panhellenic women on this thread i am ashamed to call myself a depaul sorority woman. the women who are posting here need to take a long hard look in the mirror as we reach recruitment week and reevaluate what it means to be in a sorority and if they are upholding their national values and panhel's values.

PhiMu is doing incredibly well for being a new chapter on campus. Most of the girls that are a part of it couldn't rush in the fall for various reasons, which doesn't make them any different that those that did. They are a great group of girls with an amazing president. It's hard to read these even though I'm not part of PhiMu considering the lack of support that so many others posting on here are giving.

I hate reading this but phi mu set themselves up to have this kind of backlash. You can't publicly disrespect other much more established chapters and expect nobody to be angry. Even women not in those chapters find it laughable. I hope this serves as a lesson to them that you don't get any further by tearing other people down. Focus on your chapter and having a high performing year because at the end of the day, success is only really seen by the women in your chapter. Do yourself a favor. Leave AXiD, AOPi, ChiO, and ASA out of your mouths for awhile because they have a right to be angry about how you've treated them. Just my advise.
