rude potential new member
by: AnnoyedAnother PNM was sitting next to me during round 1. She was being openly rude to the sorority sister. Literally rolling her eyes and asking how much longer she had to be in the house. Later heard her bragging that she ensured that she wouldn’t get ask back to that house. I know our gamma chi heard her say this and should have reported her, if not the sister she was rude to. However, this girl ended up in a “top” house. I thought PNM’s that acted like that were supposed to be released from recruitment. What gives?

Sadly, this happens every year. And every year nothing is done to those girls, even if they are reported. I was a gamma chi last year and reported a pnm in my group to Greek Life because what she did was so incredibly rude. And she still ended up with her top choice. The staff in Greek Life office at Arkansas seem to be biased towards those older, more established sororities so it’s no wonder that the new colonies struggle so much.

I also sat next to a girl who didn’t even want to go In a so called “ bottom house” and sat there completely uninterested. She repeatedly kept saying while waiting in line I am going to be a ......, I have so many friends in there. Well thankfully she didn’t get that sorority ( which turned out to be the one I pledged ) and ended up in a much lower house that has a mean girl reputation. I know our gamma chi heard how she was acting and always wondered if she may have had something to do with her getting cut. I hope so!

I care because I have a heart and felt sorry for the sister that had to try and talk to her. I was cut by this particular house by the way. Am very happy where I ended up though, especially since it appears like that sorority is filled with girls that are like this one girl I’m talking about.
