Chances of a bid - sorority

If a freshmen just decides to rush and optimizes their options, what are the chances they’ll get a bid?

There's only half the number of people signed up for rush compared to last year so you have a really big chance of getting a bid!

I’m pretty sure cuts are done at percentages so houses all end up with as close to an equal amount as possible so this isn’t necessarily true. With that being said, if you make it to preference and write down every house you get invited to - you get a bid guaranteed. That’s why you’re encouraged to “maximize your options,” if you try to cut a house then you are not guaranteed a bid
