the only rank I could ever get with is based on character, grades, involvement, retention and recruitment - looks like chi Omega, KD, DDD and Zeta checked several of those boxes but all of our sororities are great at OSU and I would be proud to be a member of any of them.

One where you open your eyes up a bit. Also did the writers of this thread expect to win a Nobel Peace Prize for this thread? Like you can for sure rank sororities, we have objective measures to rank them by their performance in so many competitions. If we couldn’t rank them, the it must be very strange to you why some houses can’t win literally anything and aren’t that popular. Let me know if you want the answers!

Also, I’m not saying every house doesn’t have some great girls in it. Some houses have a more consistent standard of excellence throughout, and that’s just the inescapable facts.

What is wrong with you? Whoever made this post was trying to spread pan love and you had to go in and ruin it. It doesn’t matter what rank your house is, but obviously it does to some people like you who are in a sorority for the title instead of values/sisterhood etc.

Don’t try to spread your anti rank views on a site called GREEK RANK. Also are you so prestigious you have to show pan love? How about just treating people kindly and not taken life so seriously that you can’t BARE the thought of people ranking GREEK organizations that are superficial anyways?

Do you really think the creator of this post was TRYING to win a Nobel peace prize? No. obviously they were trying to say that whichever house you may be in, it’s going to be #1 to you, why else would you pick it? I’m sure everyone knows the “true” ranks but it doesn’t really matter because although each house has their perks and personality, the Greek community chooses girls based on their values/talents and such. I don’t think anyone really thought this was a post saying that you can’t rank sororities. The post was simply saying that if you really look at the TRUE meaning of being in a sorority all of them are great, and yes they may not all win awards or be brilliant in the classroom, but at least they can offer a safe sisterhood to girls. Every girl no matter what chapter is unique in their own way, and just because they’re in a “top” house doesn’t make them any better than middle or bottom house. I’m sorry but awards don’t define a person or a sorority because initially the point of recruitment is to see which sisterhood you’d fit best in, and bond with based on your core values.

Cool message except that you got too much meaning from the post. It literally says “you can’t rank them” and you just said “I don’t think they meant that”. So either you’re talking about yourself as the author in the third person or you’re just making stuff up in your head. Also, if you cared this much about Greek life viewed this way than why do you get on Greek Rank?
News flash: there are two reasons to get on this site
1. You care about what people say about your house
2. You want to troll people that care what people say about their house

If you’re basing sororities just by the awards they’ve gotten then some houses deserve to be higher. Especially if you look at the past years, but are they higher? No. Everyone knows that the site called Greek rank is Highly inaccurate and is used as an anonymous site to post petty things about each sorority. I thought this post was very sweet because it didn’t target any sorority and showed that although we may have different “ranks” we all can offer a lot to any girl who’s willing to come our way. We all know that we rate them in a superficial way, but during recruitment we don’t just recruit the girls who look the best. We recruit girls who can offer the best and that goes for any sorority.
