I didn't end up joining a sorority due to the time constraints of dual majoring and being in so many other organizations. I regret that after being friends with so many wonderful AOPis and attending some of their functions. Fun is above all the word to describe AOPi. They are a wonderful group of sisters, I wish I had joined after all.

People say AOPi isn't exclusive enough, but I don't see that as a bad thing! Students with failing grades and other disqualifiers can't join anyway. AOPi sisters are wonderful, kind people who aren't judgmental and will accept sisters from non-traditional backgrounds. They throw awesome campus events and are real pillars of the Transy community. They accept most people who rush with them, but I don't see that as a bad thing. Overall AOPi is a group of amazing women.

AOPi is a great group of women who have great respect and love for each other. They throw great events every year and are probably the most fun and least stifling of any of the campus organizations. They are essentially the Gryffindors of Transylvania's Greek Life. I don't see where all these negative ratings come from, they are some of the nicest, most awesome women I have ever met!

Pi Kappa Alpha is a very great fraternity, they are respectful of women and don't exclude brothers due to financial troubles, race, or background, which is more than I can say for some other campus groups. Sure, they can get carried away with their drinking and music at parties, but they're just having a good time. Overall a great fraternity and a good group of men.

Honestly, they get right what all the other frats, save for perhaps Sigs, neglect: treating your brothers like true family. Ain't about money or power.
