Frats are more common to join that sororities. Lots of frats are disaffiliated from UMass which isn’t great and puts them at a higher risk for getting kicked off. If you’re a guy and want to party under 21 join a frat it doesn’t really matter which one as long as they’re decent. For sororities there are 2 good ones and the rest are all kind of the same except for the 2 bad ones. All kinds of girls join sororities. all relevant frats have houses and the top 2 sororities have houses. I think it’s not as common to be in a house for sororities. Overall living in a Greek house is fun and stress relieving with housing crisis in Amherst. If u want to party at have mixers joining Greek life is worth trying out (you can always leave if you want to) but for girls it’s not like make or break. I have heard girls before regret not trying it out tho
