Greek life is fairly large at Chapman, especially because it’s not a “sports” school. The fraternities & sororities don’t have houses, but they still have a vibrant social scene with lots of well attended events & parties. PRO: not having houses keeps the cost & drama down. Greek life at Chapman is a positive experience for most, even for those who don’t join. There is a lot of Panhellenic & Interfraternity ❤️ & cooperation. All the philanthropy events are fun & supported by everyone else. Note: Sorority Rush starts right before spring semester starts & can be competitive. Don’t assume you’ll just get what you want & don’t be rude or dismissive! And honestly, the top 5 houses are nearly equal in how happy the girls are to join. The other chapters are great, really!, with just some vibe differences. It means every type of personality can find a good fit. Every girl seems happy after they officially join their sorority.
