Comment:  A lot of people have nasty things to say about Theta because they’re considered a “lower house,” but honestly, I think they get way more hate than they deserve. I’m not personally in Theta, but I have friends who are, and they only have great things to say about it. There’s so much diversity and personality in this chapter, and it’s honestly refreshing. They accept so many different types of girls, especially those who don’t fit the stereotypical sorority image, and I genuinely think that’s part of why people rank them lower which says more about sorority culture than it does about Theta. The girls I’ve met are also super involved on campus, whether it’s clubs, school boards, or other organizations. There’s a good mix of girls who love going out and girls who are more chill and would rather stay in. Their sisterhood might be smaller, but they actually seem to know each other and have real relationships, which you can’t always say about bigger chapters. They’re also just nice asf. Obviously there’s good and bad in every chapter, but I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever met a mean Theta. Aren’t sororities supposed to be about sisterhood and uplifting each other? It’s weird seeing girls preach about being “girls’ girls” while tearing down an entire chapter because they don’t fit some stereotypical image. Being diverse, welcoming, and accepting shouldn’t make a chapter “lower.” If anything, that seems way closer to what sisterhood is actually supposed to be about. Just my thoughts tho.
