Comment:  Chi O seems to rely too much on existing social circles. If you're from out of state or a smaller Alabama school and don't already know several members, it can feel like your chances are slim. Recruitment should be about finding the best fit, not just familiar names. You'd think college would be the perfect opportunity to branch out, meet people from all over the country, and make friendships beyond the same group you grew up with.
