Comment:  My time in Pi Phi started out great, and the girls were really welcoming. I made friends easily, but those friendships quickly dissolved when a comment was made about a girl not being pretty enough to live with us for that upcoming year. That’s when I declined signing a lease with them and decided to live with girls in Chi O who became my best friends. After that, I was ostracized at social events and eventually stopped showing up to the house. However, my Big and Little sister are two of the best people, and I’ve maintained very close friendships with them even after graduation. I know my experience isn’t universal, so I’m simply saying to choose your friends wisely as this sorority is cliquey. Some are great, and some are, to put it simply, shallow and vain. Either way you will find your people, and majority of mine happened to be elsewhere.
