Comment: Sig Ep at URI has that rare thing where the brotherhood doesn’t look forced. The older guys genuinely mentor the younger ones. The younger guys actually look up to them. It’s not about who’s the loudest or who pulls the most attention; it’s about who shows up when it matters. You see it in the small stuff: Guys studying together on random weeknights. Brothers helping each other prep for interviews. Pulling up to support each other’s games, events, or presentations. Checking in when someone’s going through it. And socially? Yeah, they know how to have a good time. But it never feels reckless or desperate. It feels confident. Controlled. Like they don’t need to prove anything to anyone. What really makes them different is that the culture feels intentional. There’s structure. There’s accountability. There’s pride — not ego, but pride in doing things the right way. A lot of fraternities talk about “brotherhood.” Sig Ep at URI feels like they actually live it. It’s not just four years of memories. It’s four years that set you up for the next forty. That’s the kind of glaze that’s earned, not forced.
