Comment: Coming from someone who was a member, choose carefully. I did meet some of my best friends (4 lol) so I am beyond grateful, however it's a very restrictive environment. Because most of the girls don't go out or aren't very social, they are really judgy and distant to the ones that do. I actually made a lot more friends with girls in other sororities than I did with my own. I will say my first semester everyone was very nice but once it hit spring, it was a complete shift. Everyone is different so if you are someone that isn't really social this might be a good place for you. Just be prepared to have your Sundays be a hot mess and be involved in constant drama. I just personally think that you could have the same or better experience in a sorority that is way more likeable and actually has a low drop rate. I remember when I was out talking with other people in greek life and I would say I was in adpi, they already had an idea of the person I could be because I was in adpi. It wasn't until I actually started talking with them and having fun with them until they realized I wasn't who they thought I was. It got to a point where I was ashamed to say what sorority I was a part of. Not just cause of the reputation, but also because of how the girls were treating me. Why would I want to wear letters and help get girls during recruitment when I don't even like being a part of it. Again, made some great friends just have my own opinion based off of my own experience.
