Comment:  There are pros and cons to Pi Phi at Cornell. This house has a good amount of student-athletes. I would say it’s like kind of a lower commitment house. The girls seem like the type of people who just are pretty nice, fairly down to earth, fun personalities, and who are who they are. They don’t give out points for going to mixers and social events like some of the other houses do though a lot of them do still like to party. They just don’t seem to pressure it. I think this vibe is one of the reasons they attract people who are athletes or want a lower commitment Greek organization. Other than the athletes and a contingency of engineers the vibe is sort of a mixed bag. Used to be known for more tomboys but still has some folks that present girly. Because it’s not super homogenous/cohesive seems like that can mean the sisterhood is not super close knit. If you get along with these girls and join this house you may meet some great girls who you end up being good friends with but don’t expect yo feel close to the house as a whole. A good amount of the girls go out a lot and I would say the house is underrated in how well it mixes so this is a solid house to join. Have good friends in this house and want to give people an honest overview for rush
