Comment:  As an alum of this chapter, it makes me sad knowing what it has become. GPhi is a very well known sorority nationwide and it’s disheartening that this chapter could shut down. I do think if pnms gave the chapter an opportunity, it does have a good chance to bounce back. 2020 restrictions really interfered with them losing popularity. With a chapter so small, it would be very easy to bring in a new class that could change the trajectory of where it’s headed (new PCs literally change the chapter dynamics for all chapters as they become the new leaders usually starting the second year). It’s hard to do a lot of big events with very little active member funding but what they do host is good. While it may not be your first pick, if given the opportunity to go back during recruitment, make the most of it. Look at the possible opportunities. Every chapter could go down at any point in time. And every single chapter has their own flaws- this ones flaw (being very small) just so happens to be very visible. Also always be nice. They truly are trying their best. And that goes for all of the other chapters. This is a big week that each chapter prepped a lot for. It’s hard being on the sister side when no one is taking you serious. Give them grace. Please. You don’t have to love them, but you should respect them as that is pan culture.
