if you've got a legit GPA (3.5 or better), then a 22 or better ACT should not hurt you... assuming you're a high school grad as opposed to home school grad if your GPA is less than a 3.5, you really need a 24 or better ACT for your academics to not negatively impact you and as always, exceptions are always a thing & you just never know. sometimes a girl with a 3.0 and a 22 ACT will do just fine & other times a girl with a 4.0 and a 32 will get released heavily at the first round. there are always case by case decisions - so no one answer will fit everyone's situation
