You are correct that there are many PNMs who don't care about a sorority's GPA. That's because these same PNMs have terrible grades themselves and are desperate to be accepted into a house - any house. But I can assure you the QUALITY PNMs who sail through rush care very much about their GPA and don't want to be a member of a house that doesn't. There are girls who attend college to do the best they can and to be the best they can. They want their letters to represent that. And I assure you that if you did an analysis of the girls who drop rush and don't make it into the better houses, their grades are def. a factor. Quality attracts quality. End of story. And GPhi and APhi and the rest of the GPA bottom feeders don't attract quality.
