That is NOT what the first amendment covers. FFS. Read the constitution. Sororities aren't government entities. The first amendment ensures that you won't be punished by the government based on what you say. It applies to Mizzou because the university is a public one and is considered tantamount to a state agency. Sororities are completely different. I highly doubt there is a sorority on this campus that doesn't have a standards policy of some kind. Your national org has expectations of its members. One of those expectations is that you not make an ass of yourself in public. If you do, you can be kicked out. Surely you've heard the phrase "you are always wearing your letters."
