There are some women who sail through rush and have their choice of top houses. We all know who they are. But for the majority, it might come down to being in an average or less-that-average house or not pledging at all. That's why new houses at Mizzou have such a hard time. Many women would rather not take a chance on a house that doesn't have a good reputation or has no reputation at all. Plus college enrollment is dropping, so that increases the chance of getting into a good house, and reduces the odds or a new sorority succeeding.
