Every sorority prefers girls they already know over girls they don't. That's normal and there is nothing wrong with it. But these are just certain pnm's every year, not the whole MC in any sorority. When some of the girls already know each other they stay close, which shouldn't be a problem for anyone in sororities with close to 300 members. Every pnm can find her close friend group within sororities this large, that's the way it's supposed to work. You find a literal handful of lifetime besties and you win at being in a sorority. Calling these friend groups cliquey is what a jealous person says, so sad for anyone who sees it this way, they have obviously never been in a sorority. If a sorority wants a pnm then they want her, and if the pnm likes the sorority then that's a fit and she has found her home.
