Even though your academic standing is a sophomore, your sorority standing won't be. You'll obviously be apart or PC'16. You'll be on the composite with girls in your pledge class. Your big will be from PC'15. So yeah your big will be a sophomore too. I know it sounds odd at first, but speaking from experience it's really not a big deal at all. Think of it as a getting a girl with more experience in the sorority and Greek life taking you under their wing. I have also seen Juniors in the sophomore pledge class take sophomores in the freshman pledge class as their little late too. Either way the point of big/little is to have a girl to guide, love, and support you and you'll get that no matter what.
