<strong>Subject:</strong><br />grades, again?<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Here we go again. Most thought this was settled last year, but here we go again. Grades are so irrelevant, especially when they are so close(we are talking between a 3.1 and 3.4, at tops).Houses submit grades,as they want. The fact that the grades were posted so early for spring semester should be an indicator that they are not even complete when they are submitted and calculated.I don't blame anyone on grade reports, people want to be done for the summer and most within the system know that there is such a minor difference it's not worth exceeding the deadline to submit. Not to mention, houses report grades in various manners. Again, the majority of houses are so close-unless your house, collectively, has over a 3.5, all houses are to close to call. There are so many grade changes that are done AFTER greek grades are posted. As a matter of fact, if sororities want to start bragging about how 'unbelievable their 3.whatever is, they should probably go check out the frat gpa's-because they aren't too far behind! If you are choosing a house based on gpa, good for you. If you are confident and independent and feel that your grades will get you to that next chapter you are heading to, more power to YOU! there are many mid and lower tier houses that have girls with amazing gpas that receive amazing offers for internships, etc. Go in to recruitment and be yourself-follow your heart and stick to your own academic standards! No perks on campus for being in one of the 'smartest' houses!
