By the time you are a junior you can go to the bars and it doesn't really matter what house you're in. That's why it is so important to pick a house you genuinely like irregardless of which house is "coolest" because you will have your best friends come from your pledge class. Most people stay active at least 3 years and a lot of times 4 to influence the freshman if they actually care
