...give you access to other fraternities to other rushees you meet. You never know what you can do unless you get yourself down here and often. On the flip side, fraternities can get pretty easily offended if you go around shopping more than 2 fraternities (3 if you want to push it, and depending on their interest in you and their tier). Generally speaking you can "accept a bid" to any fraternity that gives you one because the "bid" isn't actually official until a specific day after school has started. However you should be cautious about touring around and trying to window-shop too many. Old Row fraternities, because they have the ability to be a little more picky with their non-legacy selections, don't take kindly to these types of guys, and the same can be said for the best New Row houses. On more than one occasion a guy who accepted and tried to play multiple Old and New Row fraternities was cut in the first week because of this. Hopefully that helps you get a good idea of what to do to maximize your chances for making the "best" fraternity possible. Go out and have fun man.
