"Hitting some up on Facebook" means messaging them in through the chapter's Facebook page. However, many chapters pay no attention to their Facebook pages. They're more into Instagram and Twitter. Cards - a lot of sororities sent Christmas cards (and may be sending Valentine cards) to PNMs. Means nothing. They just want to get their names in front of PNMs. Get your name on the list for cards, preview parties etc. by going to the UA Panhellenic website. There's a form you can fill out. Scroll down the home page to find it. It's really not that big a deal. BUT - do go to the website and read, read read!
