When we all have a ton of things to do and keep up with, making it to another sorority's event is just not as much of a priority unless you really have a particular interest in the philanthropy or have some good friends pulling you there. I am in a new row house and I went to several events promoted by other new row and old row houses, but whether I went just depending on what was happening in my own schedule and what other girls that I am friends with (usually on my hall in Tut) were doing and whether they were really inviting me and encouraging me to come or not. So I would say we may not be the shining example of unabashed Pan-love, but we are all very busy and in real life on campus people are friends with actives at a wide variety of sororities. A lot ends up depending on who else is near your room in your dorm and also, this is important, who else hangs out with the same circle of frat boys.
