<strong>Subject:</strong><br />sororities don't haze here<br /><br /> Poster Message:
I'm so sick of all these posts about hazing. I When I was a pnm I would look on here and get so scared of all the things said about hazing....only to discover how untrue ALL OF IT was!!! I'm in one of the sororities that is often accused of hazing on here and I can tell you right now our pledgeship required basically nothing, and sure as hell nothing that could be considered hazing. In all honesty some girls (myself included) wish we would have been hazed a little to bring our enormous pledge classes closer together, and weed out a few of girls who weren't there for the right reasons. I have friends in almost every new and old row house and trust me, NOT ONE HOUSE HAZES. The closest thing to hazing would be requirements and/or restrictions throughout pledgeship like not going to the bars, etc. or doing extra things (yet not harmful or embarrassing in anyway) during initiation week, like having to dress up for class or how phi mu has to carry around the markers. STOP saying girls are weighed, put on the washing machine, or forced to do stuff with guys. None of this is true and all you're doing is scaring off pnms from specific sororities or the greek system as a whole.
