Some sororities simply do not take sophomores unless they have a personal friend(s) in the house who can pull for them. But many do take sophomores. Make sure your have good grades - 3.4 or above. And realize that some will simply not consider you because you're a sophomore and those are going to be the most "in demand" sororities. When you're an upperclassman, don't think ANY sororities are beneath you. Your situation is more "do I want to be Greek or not," rather than "which Greek do I want to be."
