We would love to have you here, but you have to be very certain that you have the dedication and fortitude to really commit to sorority life at Alabama. It isn't necessarily the most difficult to get into, but you will be expected to put in a lot of your time, and you will be expected to conform to the standard when you join. I lived in Toulouse for 3 years and in Paris for another few years, and from my point of view, not very many French teenagers could do well in this environment. It may seem very superficial, very fake, and very controlling to you. Also understand that we are in a region where a lot of people are very close-minded. Please know what you are getting into before you decide to enter sorority recruitment. Also, "cool country like France?" What, are other countries not "cool" too? I like France as much as the next girl, but they have their share of problems which equal - even exceed ours. SMH.
